LOL GSD's are VERY expressionable, my female is always grunting and moaning. She grunts when she lays, when she get is told something. My male sighs quite abit if he is waiting for something or wants something. Just their way of communicating, I've had GSD's all my life and EVERY one of them "talked" in some sort of way. I DO find females MUCH more expression.......My hubby says they complain like HUMAN woman but of course I disagree. ;) Have fun with your girl. :)

LOL! I am on my second shephard had my first for 13 years before she pasted away from cancer. recently got a new puppy she's 14 weeks and both my shephards groaned and talked. quite humorous actually they are one of a kind. they also do an adorable head tilt when you talk to them or they hear strange noises that I have never seen in any other breed then shephards. they are so full of personality how could you not love them!!!!
