GS itching - 09/29/2007
What is the best food for food allergy in shepherds? His feet, anal area and ears all itch and have welts.

The best GS dog food is Royal Canin Maxi, formulated for German Shepherds.

I disagree with Royal Canine being the best food for GSDs. Specialized dog foods are not good. If you want to do kibble, you need to change dog food once PER YEAR. Do your homework.
The Best Dog food for all dogs is RAW FOOD.
Look up Margaret Bradley's Raw food diet for dogs and if your dog has allergies or is itchy, that is what to do.
